Blouberg: An easy drinkin' white for the weekdays

Being a university student (or in my case, an under-employed grad), leaves one with rather a disjointed and unpredictable schedule. One semester you've got 8:30 a.m. classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The next semester, all of your classes are in the evenings! Or if you're me, you've been working Friday through Sunday for the past few months and it's beginning to cripple your social life.

Where's this preamble going, you ask? Why, right into a little subject known as weekday drinking! Not a student? Fear not, a little Tuesday tipple is good for the working schmucks too. I'm not advocating getting trashed the night before your big presentation, but there's nothing quite like taking a load off midweek. And seeing as you don't want to be unnecessarily dehydrated during work or while studying for your upcoming midterms, why not stick with wine as a beverage of choice.

One of my favourite things to do on a Wednesday night is catch up on downloaded TV with friends over a couple of glasses (read: bottles) of Blouberg. Nothing complements three hours of back-to-back episodes of Walking Dead like a nice white wine. Think it sounds odd? Why not give it a try next week!
